Create a Discord Server: Step by Step
Below you will find out how to set up your own Discord server. These servers are free and can be created easily with an account. If you want additional premium features, like better audio quality for chat members, you can also use the paid Discord Nitro service.
Follow these steps to create a free Discord server:
Step 1: Launch the app on your computer or smartphone/tablet and log in to your Discord account with your login credentials.
Step 2: click in the left menu on the plus icon (Add Server). If you already have many contacts, the icon may appear lower.
Click the plus icon in the left menu of the Discord app.
Step 3: a window opens, allowing you to choose between creating a server from scratch or using a template. Click here on “Create yours”.
In the opened window, click on the “Create Server” option.
Step 4: indicate whether the server is for your friends or an official community/club. You can also skip this step.

Step 5: set the server name and, if desired, an image. Then click on “Create”. These settings can be changed later.
In the “Server” menu, define the name, add an image then click “Create”.
