Memes have already proven themselves, but still remain one of the main current trends in social networks. These photos, usually amusing and accompanied by a text, have therefore long been an integral part of digital culture. Many images or the characters they represent enjoy international notoriety. For example, there are many memes with Kermit, the frog from the Muppets.
Memes, much like GIFs, are a digital medium for presenting a reaction to something in a creative way. Sometimes they have a critical (political) connotation, sometimes simply an entertainment function.
