.prn files: how to use this print format

The .prn file extension denotes files that have been deployed for printing. To do this, a document is converted to a format optimized for a particular printer, with all of its content and graphics. This operation is based on the corresponding printer drivers. In addition to the converted document, .prn files contain information about layout, number of pages and, optionally, printer tray selection. However, the information is only compatible with the selected printer type. If you try to use the .prn files with another device, the content will be printed, but the page will also contain additional text instructions.
