In Ubuntu, the task manager can be used to terminate problematic processes. Such an interruption can lead to data loss. Accordingly, it is best to terminate processes only in cases of force majeure. System processes, however, are reset very often and are supposed to run smoothly. You can end processes using Ubuntu’s task manager as follows:
Step 1 : Launch the Ubuntu Task Manager as explained above.
2nd step : Find the process you want to end.
Step 3 : right-click on the process, a drop-down menu will open.
